How to Add Addon Domain in Godaddy cPanel?

Godaddy which is the biggest registrar in the world, they offer many offers and features to their customers. You can register domain name with them, buy web hosting for your websites, buy SSL etc. They provide everything we need to maintain and run a website online.

When it comes to domain name, I think you should go with them. But when we talk about hosting we can’t say they are offering the best in class hosting services to us. Because I have seen my websites down many times in a month which are using their web hosting services. But still they are not bad, you can go with them as well.

In this guide I will tell you how you can add addon domain in Godaddy cPanel, I will be explaining you with images so that it will be more clear for you and easy to understand.

But before that I would like to tell you that you will be able to add addon domain to your hosting plan only if you have purchased the hosting plan which allows you to run multiple domains. But if you are using Basic Plans which are capable of running only one domain you will not be allowed to host extra websites. (Addon Domains)

So now lets get started with this guide and check out the procedure which you need to follow to add addon domain in Godaddy cPanel.

How to Add Addon Domain in Godaddy cPanel?

First of all you need to login into your account by visiting their website and entering your username and password. Once you have successfully logged in into your account, click on your username which is displayed at the upper corner of your window. When you click on that you will get a menu from there click on Manage Your Hosting. You can refer the image above for more details about this step.

Backup MySQL in Godaddy Hosting

When you click on that all your hosting plans which are active on your account. (Which you have purchased) will be displayed to you. From there choose the account to which you are willing to add a addon domain and click on Manage.

Click on Addon domains

When you click on that you will be redirected to your cPanel, from there scroll down and look for Domains section. You will find an option Addon Domains click on that. You can refer the image embedded above.

Click on add domain

Once you click on that you will be asked to enter the details of the domain which you want to host with this account. After filling all the details click on Add Domain.

Now you have successfully added the addon domain.
