Change font size in WordPress!
You may want to change the font size in WordPress post and page content to grab your reader’s attention. There are possible ways to do so, that’s how? We will show you here. We are showing you two methods to change the font size in WordPress. One is using paragraph headings and the other one is using TinyMCE advanced plugin. Let’s start with Paragraph headings.
Changing font size with WordPress Paragraph headings
Paragraph headings are specially used for heading elements to grab the reader’s attention and also to increase the font size. These paragraph headings are ordered with 6 headings named as h1, h2, h3, h4, h5 and h6. You can change the font size with this but if you are a well-known writer then you will know where to use these headings. You will see this option in visual editor mode in WordPress when writing the post content and you can use different headings to increase the font sizes. You can also see the below image with all the headings.
Changing font size with TinyMCE Advanced plugin
This method needs a plugin called TinyMCE Advanced which is available in WordPress repo for free, you can download it by following this link. After installing activate the plugin and go to Settings » TinyMCE Advanced to configure it. Now you will see the TinyMCE Editor Toolbar with buttons. And also You will see unused buttons below.
Now you need to look at the Font size button under unused buttons section and drag and drop the font size button to the toolbar and click save changes button. After completing, to see the button in action go to New Post or edit and existing post and you will see font size button in the toolbar in visual editor mode.
As you can see in the above picture, you can select any font size you like from the drop down. Which gives the option to have font-size even smaller than the normal body font i.e 8pt or 10pt.
