How to Restore MySQL Database in Godaddy?
To restore your MySQL database with the SQL file you have. You need to first login into your Godaddy account by visiting their website and enter your username and password. You can use the link which is provided here you will be directly taken to their website in new tab of your web browser.
After you login into your account, look for your username which is displayed at the upper right corner of your website. Click on it you will get a menu from that menu click on Manage your Hosting. You can refer the image embedded below.
All your hosting accounts which are associated with your Godaddy account will be displayed to you on your screen. From there you need to choose the hosting account to which you want to restore MySQL database and click on Manage. I have added a picture below which will explain you where to click.
You will see a message on your screen Loading…… for 2 seconds and after that you will be automatically redirected to cPanel of your hosting account in the same tab of your web browser.
From your cPanel account scroll and find Databases on your screen from databases section click on phpMyAdmin. You will be redirected to phpMyAdmin within 2 to 3 seconds of time. Choose your MySQL Database from phpMyAdmin, you can refer the picture below for more detailed information about this step.
After you choose the MySQL Database from the available ones, click on Import which is situated at the upper part of phpMyAdmin interface. Now choose your file to import click on Choose File.
Scroll down and select Format as SQL from the drop-down menu and at last click on Go. You database will be restored as soon as you click on Go.
