Did you create an blog for you? That’s great so now you want to get some quality organic traffic for your blog. If you are a beginner then let me tell you what organic traffic is? So organic traffic is nothing but the traffic which comes from Search engines like Google, Bing etc. I recommend you to target organic traffic to your blog more than social or referral traffic.
But to get organic traffic, Google or any other search engine should understand your blog and for this sitemap plays a very crucial role. Sitemap connects all the pages, posts and categories which are added by you on your blog.
When you submit your Blog sitemap to Google search console it will be easy for the Google crawlers to crawl all the stuff on your blog and take them into their index. Then you can see all your pages, posts etc. in Google search results when you search for them.
